BIOGRAPHY
Mr Andy Sim is the Assistant Chief Executive of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) in charge of legal services and prosecution.
In this role, Andy directs and oversees 5 departments: namely the Civil Advisory Department, the Law Reform Department, the Compliance Department, the Investigations Department, and the Corporate Service Providers Enforcement & Regulation Department.
Andy has been in the Legal Service for the past 24 years and prior to joining ACRA, he served in the State Courts, the Insolvency & Public Trustee's Office, the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and the Ministry of Law.
Andy graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws Degree and obtained his Masters in Law from the Santa Clara University. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1993.
