BIOGRAPHY

Wang Dan, S.J.D., Peking University, chief of Guidance and Instruction Division, Enterprise (foreign-invested enterprise) Registration Bureau, State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), People’s Republic of China. The division is in charge of researching, drafting or jointly drafting laws, administrative rules and regulations, departmental regulations, regulatory documents, executive rules, measures and procedures relating to enterprise registration. The division also takes part in the research and formulation of national policies for market access, provides guidance and instructions for enterprise registration departments nationwide, as well as undertakes comprehensive, integrated tasks of the bureau.

The Enterprise Registration Bureau plays a leading role midst all departments of SAIC in the implementation of national commercial system reform, and the Guidance and Instruction Division is responsible for the main task. In recent years, by actively carrying out strategic decisions of CCPC and the State Council, promoting national commercial system reform practices, the bureau has made contributions to the stimulation of market vitality, the enhancement of economic dynamism, and the initialization of new motive forces for development.
