BIOGRAPHY

Mr. T. Lanston Connor is an Anguillian by birth.   He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas campus where he graduated with honours (cum laude) in 1994.  Mr. Connor is a member of Society of Trusts and estates Practitioners.

Mr. Connor, who is currently Registrar of Commercial Activities in the Department of The Commercial Registry, is the first Anguillian national to hold this substantive post with its current duties in the Anguilla public service.  Lanston came to this post in 2000, having served as Deputy Registrar of Companies from 1999.  His work at the Anguilla Development Board and Small Enterprise Development unit from 1994 to 1998, where he served as a project officer responsible for preparing reports and supervising projects and where his duties included conducting feasibility studies and providing assistance to small entrepreneurs, was the catalyst for the development of his skills in business consultancy, specifically with regards to the preparation of business plans. Mr. Connor is a member of several organizations including the Society of Trusts and estate Practitioners (STEP)  and The Corporate Registrar Forum.

Lanston is an avid spear fisherman, farmer and entrepreneur having owned and currently owning several small businesses including apartments and recreational games.
