BIOGRAPHY
Kate Lannan is a Legal Officer with the UNCITRAL Secretariat in Vienna, Austria, where she is currently the Secretary of UNCITRAL's Working Group I on Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs), working on, inter alia, a Legislative Guide on Key Principles of a Business Registry. Prior to joining the UN, Kate was in private practice and served as a member of the Canadian diplomatic corps. She has worked in the area of private international law since 1998, and is called to the bars of Ontario (Canada), the State of New York and Washington DC.
